Grand Sport models combine the premium sports-car engineering of Corvette Coupe and Convertible with the track-oriented suspension and braking componentry of Z06. How does it work? In the 2010 Car and Driver Lightning Lap, a Grand Sport Coupe lapped faster than the Audi R8 V10 and the Porsche 911 Carrera S and finished 3rd overall out of 22 street-legal entries.
